The English Immersion Course of English Language Studio is best done known for the incredible teaching methodology, scientific inputs, both in-class and out-classes activities. Our teachers do not believe in learning through translation or memorization.
During the four week course, the students will have to attend eight hours of instructions, six days a week. These eight hours will include classes by the tutors, practice in the language lab and most importantly, fun.
Aspects of teaching in English Language Immersion Program:
In-Class
Activity - There are lots of activities in the classroom, where the
teachers will give serious inputs to the students. Instead of books and
tapes, the students will be able to directly communicate with the mentor.
The classes will not include any flash cards, dictionaries and
memorization drills.
Fun and
games - fun and games are the main part of the program. It is not just a
mundane class exercise where English is taught as a subject. Practical
exposure to this language is given particular stress. There will be
language puzzles, crosswords and other kinds of games associated with
English.
The Digital
language lab is an integral part of the English Language Studio of ATI.
The modern technologies and scientific methodologies help the students
learn a lot by engaging in lots of activities. The lab is fully equipped
with technologies right for self-study practice.
The students
will also be taken for field trips, where they can immerse themselves into
a total English environment.
The course
is divided into five stages, which are pre-production, early production,
speech emergence, intermediate fluency and Advanced Fluency.
The other
kind of activities involved during the course is exercises, home
assignments, group works and projects.
