The activities of the English Language
Immersion program of English Language Studio are unique and modern. The
stages of the activities during the English language course are divided
scientifically so that the students get proper exposure to this language.
English Language Studio makes sure that imbibing language learning is not
a mundane task confined to the classrooms, but is approached with a much
broader horizon incorporating serious fun into the course.
Vocabulary expansion
- the students are initially exposed to a wide
vocabulary of 500 words and gradually the vocabulary expands to thousands
as the course progresses. At the early stage, the students start parroting
the words and steadily progresses to speech emergence, intermediate
fluency and advanced fluency.
Pictures are visuals will be used widely along with listening,
vocabulary and comprehension.
Vocabulary is increased by using pictures, simplified content, charts
and graphs.
In the later stage the students are encouraged to use small
grammatically correct sentences. Activities like, sounding out stories
phonetically, reading short modified texts, writing and illustration of
riddles, preparing dialogue journals and also studying flash cards.
One of the most significant activities during the course is conversation
between the teachers and the student. Dialogue journals and written
assignments with the instructor and student are very helpful.
